One of the tourist’s attractions in Bohol is the Blood Compact Site. This particular site is located in Barangay Bool, Tagbilaran City in the province of Bohol. It was erected in honor of a very important event recorded in Philippine history that was done between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi from Spain and Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol.
In loving memory of the late Pres. Carlos Polistico Garcia, Boholanos erected Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Memorial Park situated in CPG North Avenue, Tagbilaran City. The park covers an area over 11 hectares which was chosen by the late Pres. Garcia in 1939 when he was still the governor of the Bohol province.
In honor to the heroic deeds of Francisco Sendrijas also known as Francisco Dagohoy, the Philippine Historical Committee installed the Dagohoy Marker. It is located in Magtangtang, Danao, Bohol. Matangtang was once the hideout of Francisco Dagohoy during the revolution long time ago.
At the prestigious Mt. Carmel Hill is the location of the Spanish belfry that is of centuries-old and is situated in the land of Balilihan, Bohol. The tower is specifically positioned at the foot of the hill for it served as the bell tower of the church that was burned down during the time of Philippine revolution.
A Spanish structure owned by Dimiao, Bohol is eminently called as the Historic Ermita Ruins. Ermita is a Spanish term for a small church or chapel in a lonely place. The historic site is located across the street from the Catholic Church of the place.
In the southern part of Tagbilaran City, over 16 km away is the location of the prominent triangular watch tower found in Punta Cruz, Maribojoc, Bohol. The tower is eminently known as Punta Cruz Watch Tower.
